Tancredo Univision Debate Ad Targets Latinos
Team Tancredo.org, the official campaign website for the Tancredo campaign, has released a new web ad touting Tom's refusal to take part in last nights Spanish language, "illegal alien debate" sponsored by Univision.
Judging from the comments left on Trancredo's blog announcement about the ad:
Absolutely one of the best ads I've seen - in message and in humor! I was laughing so hard, it brought tears to my eyes! I especially enjoyed seeing McCain in the back of the truck with his "friends".!
we can only assume that this is what passes for humor in the Tancredo camp.
I guess you can say at least Tom doesn't make any bones about his obvious disdain and utter lack of respect for Latinos … but then again, given the performance last night by the rest of the Republican field, it's not like they're exactly going out of their way to hide theirs either.
So how about from this point forward we just stop the whole charade about the "immigration crisis" being about the "rule of law" or "protecting American workers" or any of the other excuses given thus far. …it's all about scary brown people, always has been, always will be.
hit-tip to Liza at Culture Kitchen for the video find.

Call me crazy, but after seeing this ad I was more open to immigrants than before. If they're responsible for bright colors, the hotties on Univison, and Latin music. What's not to love?
However, bigots may see things in a different light.
Wow ... just wow.
How long will people like Pat Buchanan and Tancredo be paid to dish out their vitriol in the MSM? We've obviously not yet reached the Lee Atwater tipping point where they have to make their racist appeals in code. They'll take their racism straight, no chaser.
I have to give Tancredo credit for a kind of warped creativity. Every time I see something he's responsible for, I think "that's the most racist thing I've ever seen." And yet if I wait a week or two, he manages to top it.
